Hello, I'm Taylor Furgason!

I'm the owner and nail technician of Tips by Tay LLC. I was born and raised in Marshfield, leading me to graduate high school in Marshfield in Spring of 2022. I found my passion for nails starting before I even graduated. I loved how it made me feel and eventually could picture myself on the other side of the mani table. I always knew that I wanted to be my own boss and make people feel better about themselves. This business and industry was perfect for me! I went to MSTC Nail Technology program in Rapids in August of 2022 and graduated that December. January of 2023, I took my written exam in Stevens Point and my practical exam in Madison to get certified through the state of Wisconsin. February of 2023, I opened the doors to my small business of Marshfield. Everyday since, I've been bringing beautiful nails to amazing clients.

Travel

I like to keep learning new things within the nail industry to stay tuned with the latest and greatest. I was fortunate enough to have been able to take a flight to Utah for 2024 Utah Nail Expo. My goal is to continue the education of my passion and career to be able to share it with my amazing clients and continue to grow my business.

Get to know me...

I was raised by a single mom with the gracious help of my grandparents. My mom works harder than anyone I'd ever known. She showed me that hard work really does pay off and staying true to yourself and your dreams make anything possible. I'd like to think that she is the reason for my success and independence.

Growing up, I never thought I would know what having a dad was like until second grade came along and my mom met Brian. He took me in as his own. He helped me with math, how to drive (because we both knew mom couldn't handle that), and even got me into hockey. Brian may not have been there for my first steps or first day of kindergarten but since the day that I met him, he hasn't missed a moment yet. He always shows up, especially to be one of my "employees" when I need something done at the salon such as hanging stuff on the wall which is totally his favorite thing to do (*wink wink*). He has now actually upgraded and has become the weekly cleaner of the salon!

When I'm outside of the salon, I love to spend time with family and friends, especially my high school sweetheart, Jaden. We love to go camping and side by siding together. You can also find me tending to our chickens, reading a good book, scrapbooking, shopping at TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby, watching a good movie/show, or trying to get on the ice when time allows.
