Benefits of float therapy may include:

- Enhanced mental clarity, focus, and creativity
- Improved sleep quality and recovery from fatigue
- Support for anxiety, depression, and PTSD

What to Expect During Your Session
- Duration: Sessions can last 30-90 minutes.

- Safety: Pod is sanitized between each use, and float therapy is safe for most individuals.
- Flexibility: Pod door can be left open or closed depending on your comfort level.
- Do I wear a swimsuit? No. You will be floating completely naked. We do not allow swimsuits due to the potential of residue from swimming pools, lakes, and/or detergents that may damage the tank. The room is completely private (make sure you lock the door!).
- We provide most of what you need to float. However, you might want to bring after shower supplies with you such as deodorant and a brush. We do have a shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and towels for your use. In addition, if you wear contacts, you will want to remove them for your float so bring those supplies.

Is the water changed out each time?
The simple answer: no. The specialized filter pump has four main components to keeping the salt water clean. One being the basic filtration of hair, skin cells, etc. Two being filter to strain any hard water minerals. Three being the UV Light that sterilizes the water and kills 99.9% of bacteria that could be harboring in the water. And four, small drips of hydrogen peroxide 24/7. All of this being monitored by an online machine. All the water gets filtered through the pump between each float session and floaters rinse off before they even begin a float, making it incredibly clean and sanitized!
Where does my head go?/How does my head stay up?/What's supporting my head?
You can fully lay back and relax and your head will not go under! The buoyancy of the salt water allows your head to float effortlessly just as it does the rest of your body. It can feel different at first so we have a little foam floaty headrest that can help with the uncertainty!
Do I really have to be naked? It's weird!
Yes! It's to ensure the salt water stays absolutely pure and clean. Its really no different than taking a private shower/bath at home or in a hotel. (If I'm being real, I get naked to get a massage, I can get naked to be alone!)

Cancellation Policy
Floaters will receive a reminder text the day before their scheduled appointment, if they do not receive one and believe they have an appointment made, they should contact Taylor.
Appointments canceled/rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will automatically be charged 50% of scheduled service total (plus card fee) at the next appointment.
Appointments canceled/rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will automatically be charged 100% of scheduled service total (plus card fee) at the next appointment.
Being late after scheduled appointment time will cut into floaters float time, if floaters are late at or past half the appointment time, it will require cancellation and will fall under the 24 hour cancellation policy above.
Snow days are bound to happen. If Marshfield School District cancels or if Taylor feels that it is not fit to drive on the roads, floaters are exempt from the cancellation policy and able to give notice that they will not be coming to their scheduled appointment time.
If purchasing a package and floater does not use all float sessions purchased within 31 days of purchase date, you forfeit the unused floats.
Before, During, and After Float Rules
Floaters will always check in at the front desk before proceeding to the float area.
Floaters will have 5 minutes to undress and rinse off (with just water) before float time begins.
Floaters will use caution at all times in the float room, especially when entering and exiting the float pod and shower as feet and floor surfaces may be wet and slippery.
Floaters will not wear jewelry while floating. Permanent jewelry is accepted as long as it's not piercings done within 2 weeks or is unhealed.
Floaters will wear no clothing items or swimsuit because it could damage the float tank water.
Floaters will not eat, smoke or vape while in the float room.
Floaters will not float face down or on belly.
Floaters will exit the float pod immediately once time is up (hearing the voice say "your session has ended") and go directly into the shower.
If floater does not exit promptly (i.e. falling asleep so hard that they do not wake up) the attendant will first knock on the door to the room. If floater does not respond, the attendant will enter the room and knock on the pod lid. If floater still does not respond, they understand that the attendant will need to crack open the lid and gently tap on them with a pool noodle or call 911 to get them out of the pod. Any costs associated with this will be the floaters responsibility.
Shower Policy
Floaters have 5 minutes to undress and shower before their scheduled time of float session and up to 10 minutes to shower and exit the float room after their session. This time is in addition to floaters purchased float time. If floater is in room past the 10 minute additional time, attendant will check in for safety precaution.
Floater should place earplugs prior to showering and wear them for the entire float. Should they come out during the float, floater should not force them back into their ear which can push water into the ear and can cause pain/inflammation/infection. They should rinse ears with the spray bottle provided after removing the ear plugs to prevent these issues.
Floaters should shower before and after floating. For convenience, shower products and towels are provided. Floaters should thoroughly rinse before float, not using any products before going into the float. The provided products are available for your post float shower. Other optional amenities available for your float are: A&D ointment to apply over any cuts or scrapes and make-up remover wipe.
Turn off the shower whenever not in use.

If I am currently taking any medications, I have received the approval from my doctor prior to floating and know the interaction that magnesium sulfate may have with my medications.
